Sowing too early, again
Every March I sow beans indoors far too soon and every April they are leggy and sulking on the windowsill. Seeds sown direct three weeks later caught up by June. Writing it down here so I stop.
Garlic in the autumn
Planted in late October, ignored all winter, lifted in July. It is the only crop on the plot that has never once disappointed me.
